This is a prototype pattern. Still needs some tweaking. We will be raising the skirt up to empire waist height and making the straps a bit more narrow. Can you picture this is red baby wale corduroy for Christmas -- yummy!!

Flamingo Party!

This outfit is a good example of how I can work with customers to get exactly what they want. This mom wanted a flamingo dress for her daughter's first birthday. On my site she picked the flamingo applique from an a-line style, white dress, and added it to a pillowcase style dress, that on the site had a watermelon on it. The flamingo worked perfectly with the fabric!! She also ordered a matching bib and bloomers! SO CUTE!

It was a long, hot day but well worth the effort! Not only did we get lots of custom orders but I made some new friends too. I met my online buddy, Debbie, who had a booth there (okay Debbie, we need a website, LOL) and Karina of On a Whimsy. I love meeting creative people who share my passion for what they do! Sparkleberry Country Fair

Designer Burps Cloths

These burps are made with premium diapers and trimmed with home decor weight fabric. Any "modern mommy" would love these! They can be embellished with a 3 letter monogram, single letter, or name of your choice. These burps were made for moms who didn't know the gender of their babies on the way. I can also go pinks and blues. Zebra and pink ribbon would be very trendy! My burps are different from some because they have fabric on the front and the back and I use thick, home decor weight fabric. This holds up great in the wash and gives the cloth diaper a little more weight - better For not sliding off your shoulder! 3 FOR $25 OR $9 EACH. I do not "stock" burps. All orders are custom made to your preferences. I prefer at least 10 days notice, however, rush orders are available.

"Tweens"

There are lots of moms out there looking for cute clothes for sizes 6-10. Some clothes in the department stores are a bit too "mature" for some of us pickier moms! With that in mind, here are a few adorable skirts that can be made in lots of differnt fabrics. The a-line skirts are flat fronts (elastic in the back, for a neater, more grown-up look). Pleated skirts are pleated front and back, elastic waist in back - very "preppy." Here are a few examples of some skirts we made for a customer. Also, at a customers request, a pair of very trendy altered jeans. I added the cute animal print cuff and ribbon, along with a belt to match! Very Clemson "Tigerish!"

Prices vary by fabric. Skirts start at $35, skirts made from heavy weight designer fabric (such as the blue/white paisley) start at $45.

Tooth Fairy Pillow

What a cute way for the tooth fairy to find that special little lost tooth - and the fairy has a great place to put some $$$. The smiling tooth on this pillow is a pocket. This one was personalized for a customer. Pillows are $20 add $5 for name or monogram.

I really enjoyed designing this little aline. Made of soft baby wale cord and green cord tree appliques. All the ornaments on the trees and the star on top are sweet little button sewed on by hand. The ric rac hills are so festive and whimsical!

This design was for grandpa, the biggest Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer fan there ever was! The top is a sweet cross back pinafore. I altered a pair of jeans with some ruffles and an applique.

Pink For October

My blog is PINK for October in order to raise awareness for the terrible disease of breast cancer. It has effected our family in a much too real way. As most of you know, my mother battled this disease and we thank Heavenly Father every day that she is a SURVIVOR! I know everyone is not this fortunate though, and I also know I have a great chance of having to fight the disease one day myself. So, let's all raise awareness and go PINK for October.
